Job Description

Klein Insurance is seeking an individual who aligns with our core values of being open-minded, hard working, optimistic and a team player while upholding the highest integrity. This position is for our Eagle Bend, Minnesota office location. This role will start as a customer service representative position, and would transition to an agent position if progress is made and skills are demonstrated. We are seeking an individual that thrives in a multi-faceted professional environment and willing to travel between all locations.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
  • Complete new client intake forms for agents to quote 
  • Work under the supervision of your team lead to include but not limited to:
    • Maintain paperless client filing in accordance with Klein Insurance procedures
    • Accept projects delegated to you by team lead for training purposes 
  • Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions/explain information
  • Assist in keeping client contact information current
  • Research inquiries regarding client accounts
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed
  • Travel as needed for company training
  • Manage and execute tasks efficiently across organization
  • Embrace opportunities for travel to enhance collaboration and support across our various locations 
Qualifications

  • Willing to obtain insurance license
  • 2 or more years of administrative support experience desired
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofreading skills, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, co-workers, and external parties
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems)
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused on projects through frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion of sensitive information

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Compensation: $35,360.00 - $45,760.00 per year
